The PALbotics program is our community outreach annual event, it is typically held during the summer at the Police Athletic League which is our partner for this event. At the program children from ages 11-14 are given the opportunity to learn hands-on from semi-professionals in the field of Robotics. The program usually consists of a couple of days of theoretical learning, in these lessons we teach the basic elements which are required to build a robot, such as, algorithmic design, Newtonian mechanics, and gear ratios. This is then followed by mentor guided building and design sessions.
